Researchiing in the Townships

I'm considering a genealogy trip to the Eastern Townships, specifically in Shefford and Bolton. Does anyone know if the cemeteries of that area have been catalogued or indexed? I'm researching a HUNT family that lived in the area from about 1800 upward to about 1840, and most specifically Ambrose Hunt who probably died in, or near Bolton between 1823 and 1825 (he's transferring land to a son, 11 Jan 1823, and does not appear in the 1825 census).

Any help I receive regarding this expedition will be greatly appreciated.

I went to interment.net and found some from Shefford at the link below. I did not look at them to see if your surname or time period were included.

I found the people at the Eastern Townships Research Centre at Bishop's University in Sherbrooke to be very helpful. http://www.etrc.ca/archives-department.html?no_cache=1

Best of luck,

Thank you all for your generous assistance. I've scanned down through all those cemetery records and found several that are tantalizing, including one I know is relevant. I'll definitely be in touch with the Historical Society. My Ambrose HUNT has to be hiding there somewhere.
