Surnames: Lambert, Barré
I understand from family that there is ancestry from Sacre' Coeur. They are Lambert and Barrie (Barie ?) families. They emigrated to US around 1870's. Where would I find info (birth certificates if available for this time frame)? Is there a locate Town Hall for Sacre' Couer? Any help in some direction would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the reply. It's been 5 years and I am surprised I still have the same e-mail address.
What I have:
Louis Lambert, born Sept 1849, emmigrated to U.S,1865
Celina Lambert, born 1857
I have a census from 1900 showing Louis and his in-laws
Frances Barry:(spelling could be -Barie)born April 1827 &
Margaret Barry born Feb 1829 emmigrated to U.S. in 1871.
My mother had always said they came from Sacre-Cour

Again, thanks for the reply
