I am ggranddaughter of Catherine Shallow Boyle. I found her buried in Spokane, think it is Riverside Cemetary, they sent me a picture. I have a typed copy of her funeral notice. My grandmother was Catherine Boyle Larkin, my mother was Ann Elizabeth Larkin Green, I am Katherine Green Mize. I remember Aunt Bessie. I also have copies of the land map and when Catherine sold it. I spent days in Graceville area looking.

Hi Jodi,
I'm the GGGranddaughter of Catherine Shallow Boyle also. My GGrandmother was Margaret Ann Boyle, your Bessie's sister. Maggie Boyle married Amedius Burch Laird in 1886 in MN and they had 7 children. Amedius died in 1901 of TB and Maggie took her family to Spokane too.
I have a copy of the Boyle/Lynch book that Sr. Claire put together from your travels with her. I also wrote some to Sr. Claire back then and still have her letters.
I'm away from home right now and don't have all of my files to refer to, but I do recall that Catherine had 12 children, not 11.
I think this makes you and I 3rd cousins!
Hope to hear from you,
Mary Laird Ricketts

Hello There,

I am a descendant of Thomas MORAN. My family is from St. Patrice de Beaurivage, next door to St. Sylvestre.
In my records I found a Thomas MORAN of St. Sylvestre (b:22 October 1936) that was married to Anna McGee(b:15 Feb 1943). They supposedily have a child by the name of Gannon.
I also have records as follows:
John McGee married Nora Mullany - child William McGee
William married Jane MORAN in 1877 and had seven children.
- this branch, again according to my records lived in St. Pats.
Jane was the daughter of John MORAN and Hannah McCrea of St. Sylvestre who were married in 1834.

If this helps out - let me know.

Jim Moran

Surnames: MAGEE, MORAN, MULLAVY
Hello Jim Moran: Always glad to hear from someone about the Magees!! It was a long search for me, when I finally finally found James Magee's birth, I knew he was from Quebec but never where.

To make a long story shorter...my husband & I went up there and found so much history; I have two books on the Parish, Lotbiniere & St. Pats I think. And I could see where Patrick Magee came with others from Ireland and received land.
We could not find out where exactly as it was Sunday and everything was closed.

Whether we are of the same line or not I don't know, probably I think.

My line is like this...and I can send you my file PDF or Family Tree Maker;
Patrick Magee (Irish) m. Ann McCaulay and they had:
John (who married HONORE MULLAVY ...could be Nora Mullany??)
James, Michael, Bridget, William & Theresa.

My guy being JOHN, I had only time to do his line. He married (as above) Honore Mullavy, 30 Jan 1837.

They had James (my great- grandfather) and Ann and probably others.
James came to New Brunswick from Que. & married a Geldart. They had a female child Annie Rose, my grandmother. I always thought it was such a pretty name...Annie Rose Magee.

Anyway, that's it for now. If you have questions etc. my email is craigs.BR@gmail.com or calbarb@nb.Sympatico.ca.

Good hearing from you anyway.
Barb Craig

My great-great grandmother and grandfather were William and Bridget McGee, that you listed below - i was trying to find William's parents, but I couldn't read the certificate on ancestry.com very well

- I believe Patrick and Ann McCauley were listed on an earlier census with William, but they were MUCH older than him - how do I find out if they were the grandparents or the parents?

Thanks!

Surnames: McGee, McCauley, Martin, Corrigan
I am not related to this branch but I do have the names in my tree as possiblies for some day.

My French is not that great but I looked at the marriage record from Saint Sylvestre from October 20, 1857 and it does show that William McGee, farmer. was a son of age of Patrick McGee and the late Anne McCauley.

Bridget Martin was the minor daughter of John Martin and Anna Corrigan.

Witnesses were James McGee and Michael McGee (brothers of the groom) and James Hearne (friend of the groom) plus Mary Martin (sister of the bride), James Martin (uncle of the bride), Theresa McGee (friend of the bride).

Hope this helps.
