James Cascadden, with wife Margaret Lowry, came from Ireland to Lotbiniere County, Quebec, Canada about 1835. They had ten children. Five were born in Ireland, and five were born in Quebec, Canada (probably St-Margaret in Lotbiniere County). They attended a Methodist Church in Megantic County, Quebec.
