Re: Where is Aubigny, Quebec
Not in Quebec but in Manitoba
Aubigny is a small village nestled on the east side of the Red River along Hwy 75 about 10 miles north of Morris. The French Canadian community is named after Count Antoine d'Aubigny, a French nobleman, who, after he came to Canada, became a Trappist monk. The parish of St. Antoine d'Aubigny, established in 1903, was just one of the number of parishes that were established with his wealth.

Re: Where is Aubigny, Quebec
I found this......
The city of Lévis was formerly called Aubigny. In 1861 it was renamed in honor of François-Gaston de Lévis, a hero in the Battle of Sainte-Foy in 1760.

Sherry,
If you go to the Aubigny Church again can you look and see if an Eon or Heon is buried there. Death Sept. 6th 1903.
Thank you,

Re: Where is Aubigny, Quebec
Lance, I checked all of the churches in Levis for the year 1903 and no Eon or Heon burial was recorded. Do you have any more details?? It was for the town of Levis, Quebec?? I checked Catholic and Protestant.

Re: Where is Aubigny, Quebec
Yes, I have much information on this family and his name was Ramsey. My Great grandmother was born to Georges' oldest son Leonard George Ramsey in Levis in 1863. George came to Quebec in 1818 from England with his first wife Jane Curry and baby son Andrew. I can send you more if you wish.
Thanks,
Jim
