For those of you on this list that are interested, I have launched a new website at www.framptonirish.com

The Frampton Irish website is dedicated to the history and genealogy of the Irish people who emigrated from Ireland to the vicinity of Frampton Township in Dorchester County of Lower Canada (Quebec) in the early 19th century. The website is provided in the English language to enable english speakers to obtain information about their Irish ancestors who lived in the Frampton area of French Quebec (QC).

My family also belongs to the Frampton Irish, the Ross family was a relative of John McBean of St Edouard de Frampton and also the Doherty family of St. Malachie was my Grandmother's family. It was exciting to find your website and to let you know that I have visited Springbrook a number of times and also the original homesteads of both families. A beautiful place

RE: ROSS & GARVIN
Doing research on husband's family.
Ellen ROSS (daughter of Robert ROSS & Margaret [?]) married Thomas GARVIN in 1851 in Dorchester Co, Quebec.
Ellen was born c1827-1828 in England; died May 1907 in Seattle, Washington.
Is Ellen a part of your ROSS family??

I am interested in buying your first book but it's a real long shot as to whether the Charles and Mary White listed in it are my great great Grandparents. Mary's maiden name is Landum but no Landums are listed in your name index. Lots of Landrys. Got the name Landum off my G GF's marriage certificate.
