Beauceville Drouin records 1768-1782

I'm looking for a record for my 5th great grandmother which should be around 1777 in St. François, Beauce, Quebec... or Beauceville. There seems to be a gap in the Beaceville Drouin records. Does anyone know where I can find the records between 1768 and 1782? Or know what happened to them?

Thanks for your help,

Katherine

I suppose you know by now, but look in the St-Joseph de Beauce records. Here is what Jean-Marie Verreault (priest) wrote: "When I arrived in this parish of St-Francois, I have not found any other records that the ones started by Father Theodore my predecessor, on which I continued to write weddings, baptisms and funerals until 20 June 1767. The Bishop then forbade me to do these functions in this church (of St-Francois), excepted to say Mass on weekdays, wishing that St. Joseph and St. Francois would become one single parish. The records of St. Joseph were for the two parishes since that time. In witness whereof I have signed at St. Joseph, 3 July 1767, Verreau, Priest."
