Three of the Twohey sons moved to Olympia Washington and two to Lowell Mass. Bridget Johnson Twohey moved to Lowell as well as several of the Twohey sisters who never married.

Surnames: Brown, Goggin, Buckley, Gleason, Wiliiams, Murphy.
My great grandparents, James Brown and Mary Anne Goggin, left Tingwick in 1868 and migrated to Birch Cooley, Renville County, MN. They moved together with a group of related Irish families from Tingwick, including Gleasons, Buckleys, Williams, and Murphys. These were related to Twohey in Tingwick.

Hi Gail,

I have a Patrick Murphy married to my relation, Ellen Brown. They were married c1845 in Tingwick and had known children
James b. 1847
Dennis b. 1850
Agnes b. 1862

All three migrated with my Brown, Goggin, Buckley, Gleason, and Williams relatives in 1868 to MN.

I do not have a Francis. I do have a Michael Francis, born c1890, probably in Quebec. The only Goggin that I know came to MN was in 1868. She was married to a Brown.

I happened to be in Tingwick this past weekend searching for my Corley ancestors. I have a bunch of headstone photos that may interest you. It is interesting that you descend from so many family names in the area. Do you know why that particular group landed in Tingwick....other than the bountiful farmland of course. Email at corley.ancestry@gmail.com and I'll send you all related tombstone photos.
