Surnames: Coulombe, Pelletier
There was a Frederic Coulombe who enlisted into the Union Army in 1861 at Lincoln Maine. I'm trying to see if this is the same person who married Marie-Onsime Pelletier in St Flavie Que in September 1855. Do you know anything?

Thanks

Andre N. Coulombe

I saw you message again. I need you to write to me as I am preparing my book on the family and you data is not there.
I do not have birth dates or places for you or your brother Charles A. Also, are you guys married? Kids?
I have no date on your mom (no dates, places or names of her parents) I do not have yur parents marriage date or place.
Do you have any dates on Aquila & Dolores A. Audette - your grandparents?

Paul:

I don't have your address, so heres some more. My parents were married in New York City on 21 Jul 51. My Mother the former Patricia Collins is the daughter of the late John Collins 1896-1987, who came from an Irish family in Lawrence MA. The census of 1900 lists him as adopted. Its a family legent, he came from an Austrian Count, but who knows. Let me know what else I can give you, I've done a bit of research myself, but that Frederic is of great interest to me. The Civil War Veteran Frederic is buried at the National Cemetry at Kennebec ME. Based on the area of the cemetary he may have died in the early 1880s. There is a pension application he submitted for war wounds in September 1865. The time is right I think this is our guy.

I see you did write again. I hope we have Frederic placed properly. I tend to think so. If Onesime did not produce children, then he is the wrong one. Let me know if you find more on this guy.

Paul:

Frederic and Onsime did have one son before he took off. Joseph Coulombe 1857-1932 was my paternal Great GrandFather. He married Caroline Pelletier in 1884 and sometime around 1888 moved to Fall River MA. We know this because he appears in the phone book as a grocer in 1889. In addition he purchased a large plot (which we are still filling) at Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River. In fact besides my own Father, there are buried some Children of JC and CC begining in 1890 with Typoid victims, Onsime herself in 1912, their son Aquila in 1932, both of them and their oldest surviving son Oscar 1891-1968. Hope this helps.

Should you choose to mail your family data to me
Paul Coulombe
207 Park Ave.
Arlington, MA 02476

Remember, I rely on people doing this if they want their families totally represented in my book. People who will be disappointed will be those who do not take the time to send the data to me now, and later on ask me for a book. I hope you will update all your relatives for me - partial data is okay too.
Sincerely,
Paul

Hi.
All I know about him is his marriage.
He had a son, Joseph Coulombe, who died in Mass (26 Feb 1932) and had a large family.
