My reading of french handwriting is not too sharp. There's a burial record for a Genevieve Gagnon about April 1790 at St-Anne-de-la-Pocatiere. I think it says "widow of Chabot ..age 37". If this is correct, then I'm thinking that the wife of Francois Chabot by his 2nd marriage may be the daughter of Jacques Gagnon and Marie-Madeleine Pinel. Their Genevieve was born 24 Jan 1752 at same location. Unless I'm mistaken, neither Tanguay nor Genealogie.org nor Rootsweb has the parents of Genevieve, the second wife of Francois Chabot (son of Jean-Bte and Genevieve Isabel). Marriage record? Daughter, Marie-Francoise,was born 15 Sept 1784 in Rimouski per Tanguay page 596.
