Looking for descendants of Donald Mitchell (1781-1968)and Christian McKinlay(1792-1860). Originally from Carradale, Argyll, Scotland. They settled in Laskay/Strange, Ontario in the 1850's with their 4 youngest children: Elizabeth, Donald, Hugh (Ewen)and (Christina)Christian.

Donald married Margaret McKinlay in Scotland, immigrated to Canada settling in King Twp. then to Raymond, Ontario. They had the following children (1855-1873): Archibald, Elizabeth, Catherine, Christena, Isobel, Margaret, Daniel and Barbara.

Hugh married Elizabeth Ireland in Eversley, Ontario and had the following children (1868-1884): Elizabeth married Rankin Hughey, Christina Jane married William Ash, Sarah Annie, Selina married William Brownlee, Melville married Gladys Snider, and Delemere.

Christina (Christian) married Dougald McMillan in King Twp.
