I do not have notes and I am a bit rusty on this side so my recolection may not be 100% accurate.

Yes, I think they had 3 before they moved to MI. The church is on James street in the "Core". It has a very tall spire and has one of the 4 world class set of chimes in Canada. Gale had a farm in Albion Hills. I assume this is the same as Mt. Albion. I do not know if he owned the property in 1840. Robert Van Dusen, part of the Levi family, had been granted most of that mountian. He is still on the mountain in a small cemetery.
Gale was born in Loggie Scotland. He may have been the head of the Scottish the Presbyterian Church in that area. He was most learned and a great teacher but was a very poor preacher. He is recorded sporatically through out the piece of ON between Hamilton and Niagra. He may have been responcible for the split of the Free Church from the Presbyterian Church.
