Allen/Morrison-Wellington County, ON
I am looking for information about my 2xgreat grandmother, Margery (Morrison) Allen who immigrated to Canada from Ireland in 1847 and settled, 3 years later, in Arthur Township, Wellington County, Ontario. In particular I am interested in identifying her parents and siblings, plus any other stories of her immigration and life in Ontario. Also would like to know more about her daughters, Margaret, Sarah & Marjorie.

Re:ALLEN / MORRISON -Wellington County, ON
Hello sstanger1- thank you for your reply. Yes I have done a fair amount of research already-I am trying to fill in some gaps. Margery married William Allen in Ballysadare, Ireland Apr 19, 1822. They came to Canada with 6 children, Robert, John F, Margaret, William (my great grandfather), Sarah & Marjorie. William (her husband) died within a couple weeks of their arrival. Margery apparently stayed in Toronto Gore with some of her family between 1847-1850. It is these Morrison's I am trying to identify and their relationship to her. There are a lot of Morrison's! The daughters did marry-Driver, McGuire & Bell-Marjorie & her husband (Bell) went out west I think. I have some census info but trying to validate.
