In the records of Wanner Mennonite Cemetery, 2482 Maple Grove Road, Con B, Lot 11, Cambridge ON (originally Old Waterloo Township) records John Hinds, Margaret 1810-1879; Margaret M; Ralph M. 1835-1862; Robert 1828-1879; William 1831-1870.
Margaret wife of John was an early cook in Guelph for the workmen who were hired to clear the village survey. Margaret bore and cared for her child Oscar during this time. I could not find records of Oscar Hinds The family lived on the old Waterloo Road where Galt's gift of a farm was located.
