Here you go.

Dorothy May Jefferies, b 20 Oct 1910, d/o William Jefferies, carpenter, & Florence Rosina Bryant. Parents were married 6 March 1899 in London England.
Registered Stratford, Perth County, # 039107.

Births released to 1911; marriages to 1926 and deaths to 1936.

1911 census www.automatedgenealogy.com
It is the last one released.

1911 census Tilbury West, Essex South, Ontario
JEFFERIES

Florence, Dec 1879, 31, Eng, "

Arthur Edward, Apr 1904, 7, Eng, "
Hilda Kathleen, Sep 1908, 2, Ont
Dorothy May, Oct 1910, 7/12, Ont

1901 Mangotsfield Gloucester
JEFFERIES
William, 23, carpenter and joiner, b Downrand? Gloucester
Florence, 21, b as above

Maybe Dorothy May was Ellwood's mother but raised by her parents? Happened. A fair few kids grew up thinking that their birth mother was their oldest sister.

Not much you can find out after the release dates I mentioned above.

Died: William Thomas Robert, b Downsend Bristol England, 11 Nov 1901, bank clerk, s/o Wm Thomas Jefferies and Florence Rosina Bryant both b Downsend Bristol England, died 22 Aug 1935 of angina pectoris & myocarditis, informant: Wm Thomas Jefferies of Comber,Ontario, burial: St George Cemetery, Comber, Essex County. # 014352.

Birth:
Wilfred James, 5mos22days, b 8 July 1920 Tilbury West, died 31 Dec 1921 of interruption? of bowel/collapse, s/o William Jefferies & Florence Bryant both b England. Burial: 2 Jan 1921 Presb Cemetery Comber.

That would have made Florence 49/50 when this child was born. A bit old.

Thank you, I was not aware of this 5th sibling. Wm T Jefferies cause of death appears linked to a heart problem which felled another family member at an early age.
However Walter Bowen Ellsworth was Dorthy's husband. I am looking for links to the family, trying to determine what happed to Alfred E and Hilda in Canada or Dorthy Mays family if any. Alfred and Hilda were named after 2 of their mothers younger siblings in England who disappeared off the census after 1891.Hoping to find any info or photos from the family in Canada or reference to their namesakes in England.

Marriages are only released to 1926 and I don't see any marriages for them on either Ancestry.ca or Ontario Marriages.

I do appreciate your help but I looked a little closer and checked a few things.
To clarify based on the info you provided, Dorothy May could not be the underage mother she would have been turning 9 when the child was conceived. Florence, my great Aunt was actually only 40 at the time of Wilfred James birth and he lived 1 yr 5 months based on these dates. In addition Walter Bowen Ellsworth actually was the son of Walter E according to the marriage announcement to Dorothy May in St Thomas times.
Your information has been helpful regardless. Thank you for the effort. I have little to go on once the family reached Ontario and no record of the namesakes back in England beyond 1891 census. I am still hoping to unravel that mystery

You will have this 1891 census

BRYANT
Robert, 40, carpenter
Rosina C, 40
Maud, 16
Florence, 11
Robert, 10
James, 8
Hilda, 6
Stanley, 3
F D Phillips, 22, stepson, shoemaker, b Bristol
Alfred E Phillips, 17, stepson, butcher, b Bristol

Is Alfred E Phillips the one you are referring to?
Was Rosina married before?

1901 census Downsend Gloucester England
BRYANT
Robert, 50, carpenter
Rosina, 54,
Robert G, 20, clerk
James E, 18, salesperson
Hilda, 16, milliner,
Stanley, 13,

Hilda is still with her family.

1901 census Mangotsfield,DOwnsend, Gloucester
PHILIPPS
Alfred, 27, butcher, b Bedmnster Bristol
Alice, 29, Hanham Gloucester
May, 3, Staplehll, Gloucester
Doris, 9 mths, "

Re Rosina being married before. There is this on 1871 census Bedminster Somerset

PHILIPPS
Edward, 26, engine fitter unemployed, b Bedminster Gloucester
Rosina, 24, b Stapleton Gloucester
Frank D, 2, Bedminster.
This fits with FD Philipps on 1891 census.

There are many Hilda Bryant marriages listed on FreeBMD. It is only an index so no parents are named.

Hope this helps rather than confuses!

Satch, This is a huge step forward. Thank you for the help. I am still trying to determine if Hilda Louisa, her correct name was misnamed in a census I saw for 1901 listing her as Elda, or was there a twin.

Yes Rosina was married to Edward Phillips. He died. Robert Sr. was previously married and had 2 daughters with Elizabeth Nicholls. She died 1878.

I can find no further record of Robt Srs younger sister "Elzith" beyond early years around 1861. You seem to be looking at more detailed census info than I am. Is that possible?
