I am looking for information on the family of Samuel(1855-1934) and Elizabeth Stahl(1859-?). Together they had two daughters Gertie (1893-?) and Vera (1899-?). Vera married Leo Rejefsky and had two children Craighton and Corinne. Samuel also had two other daughters Emma and Clara by a previous marriage. Clara married a Duering. If you have any info to share it would be much appreciated

Thanks for those dates and locations. I had discovered that they were buried at Mt Hope but I had not had the chance to pursue it yet so thank-you!

Hello
I am the youngest daughter of Larry and Carol (nee Rejesky) Musselman of Sarnia Ont. My Mother's mother and father are Leo & Vera (Stahl) Rejefsky of Waterloo. She had two brothers, Craighton and Richard, and her sister Corinne, she also had an Aunt Gertie. My Mother Carol passed in July of 2007. My mother told me at some point the family changed the spelling of their last name to Rejesky. I know her sister Corinne was married to Tom Barton and they lived in California. Richard was married to Shirley.

I had an old photo of Vera and Leo along with a newspaper clipping of Vera's obituary stating that the had three sisters, Mrs. Emma Robinson of Newmarket, Miss Gertrude Stahl of Waterloo and Mrs. Clara Duering of Waterloo. I will be glad to scan and share these with you.

I hope some of this will help and look forward to hearing from you about any info that I can get on my mother's side.

Regards,
J. Wigle

Hi Jane,
I somehow missed seeing your post until now so I am sorry I did not reply sooner. I am researching my husbands grandmother's family the Schinbeins. Your mother's grandmother would have been Elizabeth Schinbein so i think you and my husband would be third cousins if I have this right.
We live near Listowel Ontario near Nicholas Schinbein's Homestead and my husband and his sister have memories of Gertie visiting. i didn't start researching this family until my Mother-in law's generation was gone so unfortunately there is a lot I don't know. this family was relatively small and dispersed from the area so my husband has few memories of this branch of the family. I will send you a link for my tree that you are welcome to look at and if you have any info for your branch or see any errors please let me know. i am especially looking for pictures if you have any to share. It would be nice to put names to faces.
Thank-you so much for contacting me.
JoAnne

Hello JoAnne
Apologies for not replying sooner. I am out of the country escaping the Canadian winter and will be returning in a week. I will scan and send the pictures I have of Leo and Vera Rejesky for you. Thanks for your information as well. I did not see a link for a family tree, would you mind sending again, I would love to see it.
Regards
Jane
