Donald John Currie DOB 19 Jul 1855 in Glasgow Scotland; parents John Currie and Hellen Reid DOD 1861 in Lanark, Scotland. Donald and his brother Alexander (DOB 1857) came to Victoria County approximately 1864-65; they were most likely Bernardo Boys and they were placed with John and Esther Nesbitt of Victoria County. They were employed as farm labourers and they lived with the Nesbitts until they became adults. Donald married Ann Jane Ball 16 Jan 1878 in Fenelon Falls and Alexander married Lyddia Livingston 11 Oct 1880 in Victoria County.

Donald Currie is an ancestor and I am seeking confirmation of these facts and information on the Bernardo Boys in Victoria County.
