I have Britton ancestors and have the following information on your James and Martha (Lawrence) Britton.
James born May 6, 1868 in Verulam Twp to John and Jane (Hunter) Britton
Martha born October 7, 1870 in Galway Twp to Anthony and Eliza Lawrence
Married December 20, 1893 in Bobcaygeon, ON witnessed by William Britton and Tillie Lawrence.
Children of James and Martha:
Walter Britton September 11, 1894
Edna Britton May 10, 1896
Mabel A. Britton February 11, 1897
James A. Britton September 11, 1899
I don't seem to have any information on your Agnes Matilda Britton. Unless Mabel A. is Mabel Agnes and she then decided to go by Agnes and not Mabel/Matilda.
I have further information on John and Jane (Hunter) Britton and their families if you need it.
Good Luck,
Marlene

John and Jane Britton would have been my grandfather's grandparents. His name was William Bruce Britton, son of Martha Lawrence and James Britton. I believe he was born in the Bobcaygeon/Fenelon Falls area of Ontario, Canada and died in Brantford, ON His tombstone is at the Mount Hope Cemetary. He was born Sept. 11, 1902 and died in 1990. He married Catherine Baker born 1897 died 1974. They had one daughter, Catherine Mary (Britton) Stephenson who is my mother. Mom will be 88 years old this coming September.
I would be very interested in receiving any information on John and Jane Britton and their families if possible.
Yours truly,
Pat Stephenson

If you did not already receive an answer to this question, I believe Eliza did marry Joseph Cooper and then went on to marry a John Brandon and then a Joseph Eade. Eliza would have been my grandfather's grandmother.
