Another attempt to try and find out what happened to my grandmother Sarah Wilson who emigrated to Toronto in 1923 from Scotland, born 22 May 1886 Dalkeith Midlothian. She gave her age as 33yrs and single on emigration document. Sarah married William C. Scott 30/12/1904 in Dalkeith and had three children, John 1905, William 1906 and Sarah 1909. She left my grandfather in 1911 and had a son James Wilson Moffat to a John Moffat in Fife in 1912 and another son John Moffat Wilson 1915 in Edinburgh. She left the boys in foster care in 1923 and emigrated to Canada. I would appreciate any information about Sarah as I'm getting on in years and this is perhaps my last attempt to find what happened to her. John Scott

When she came to Canada what surname was she using, it might help with the search, she of course could have remarried once she arrived here, do you know if she had any family that also came to Canada?
If you know the names of her parents that could help see if there might be a marriage cert here in Canada for her she may have married again. Wilson is a very common surname name I have Wilson's in my family so I know how hard it is to find what your looking for. If she married again we would have another name to search.
