Thank you Jane. This is probably the person I am searching for. Can you tell me what year the voter's list was for?
I now have an address as well, so I am very grateful.

Hi,
Did you need a copy of the passenger list? I see they brought a daughter, Catherine, age 7 months, born Deer Lake, Canada, with them. Also wife, Mary, was born in Rapids, Manitoba, Canada. I wonder if she went to Manitoba after Donald died? Will look around for that for you.

Hi,
The information I have is that Mary Gilmour Eadie was born near Glasgow, Scotland, March 6, 1891.
Also I was told that they had no children.
I would like to see the the passenger list you mentioned. Is it dated 1926?
Thank you for all of your help.
David

I think I may have found the wrong one. I don't think this is who you are looking for as the couple is too young.

Port of Arrival: Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Port of Departure: Greenock, Scotland
Date of Arrival: 18 Sep 1926
Vessel: Aurania

I don't think these are the correct people either, but I appreciate your efforts.
It's people like you that we are indebted to.

Now that you have a possible address use the "Ask A Librarian" feature at the Toronto Public Library to check the city directory for the next three years. You will have to wait till to-morrow to do an additional three years, etc. (they will only search three years at a time)

Thank you for this information. I have taken your advice and have "asked a librarian".
Hopefully I will narrow down her year of death.
Thank you again.
