Looking for any information on the Hogan's. James Connor Hogan born, June 26, 1873 and died April 15, 1950 was my Great Grandfather that worked for the Canadian Car & Foundry Ltd. until he retired in the mid 1940's. He was married to Bertha Brown and had about 5 or 6 children, one of which is Morris Joseph Hogan who is my Grandfather. James and Bertha are buried in St Andrew's Cemetery in Block 21 Lot 44 (St. Patrick's Cemetery). There are 2 others buried in the same grave that is Edger Hogan (never married) and John Leahy (infant death). John Leahy was the son of my Dad's Aunt. Also, My Grandfather, Morris Joseph Hogan was married to Louise Pearl Hoben in Fort William. Morris was born in 1907 - 1985. Louise died in the late 1930's or early 1940's. They had 6 children, 1. Morris, 2. Brian, 3. Bruce, 4. Jack,. 5. Mona. 6. Morrisene. My Grandfather worked for CNR and after Louise died he transfered to Winnipeg and worked at Transcona CN until he retired. I do know that there is family and Ancestor's in Tiny Township, and Severn Bridge, North Simcoe, Ontario. I found my GG Grandfather, Patrick Joseph Hogan, born, 1850 - 1935 and was a Lumber Manufacturer. He was married twice, First to Mary Hamilton in 1890 and had a son William Hogan. Second wife was Elisabeth Brown Married 1901. they had 5 or 6 children which I don't know the names of. My GGG Grandfather, James Hogan had immigrated from Ireland with his wife Mary Tobin. They were married in Ireland and immigrated to Ontario, Canada. Mary was born in Wicklow and James maybe in South Tipperary Ireland. In Ontario, they owned a Sawmill in Severn Bridge and started to raise a family. I am trying to locate James Hogan's burial. I know that after the Sawmill was closed, they moved to Tiny Township looking for work. Now I don't know if James is buried in Severn Bridge or Tiny Township. So, I am asking for anyone's help or who has more information then I to e-mail me or who can help me in any way. Thank-you Mrs. Heather Kirton
