Hello! I am trying to locate a marriage license for my grandfather Victor Macalpine and his first wife Jessie Ethel Carmichael. I do not know the exact date since I know very little about my grandfather. The approx. date of marriage in Sudbury was between 1905 and 1920. Iam sorry about the great deal of space between the years. I have heard many contradicting stories about their wedding date. I am willing to pay an costs for postage, reproduction, and or search fee that may occur. Please let me know if anyone can help or if Mr. Ron Marshall could help in the Ontario area. Thank you for your time and effort. Elliott

Hi Elliott,
I realize that your post is a few years old, but I came across the marriage register you were looking for. Let me know if you still need it and I'll send it along.
Sharon.

It appears to be quite a few years since your wrote this but it is crazy that I was talking to my Mom last night who is the granddaughter of Jessie Carmichael. Infact she is named Ethel, after her grandmother. She is the daughter of Stencil Noreen Macalpine MacIntosh.
Jessie had seven children:
Richard
William
John
Margaret
Joe (female) and Stencil Noreen
