I am trying to locate Everrett's grave site. I believe he died in Sept. 9/32 in Markstay and was buried in Pinehill Cemetery. I have gone through the cemetery and cannot find a marker for him. Have talked to the Markstay town office and they have no record of him. Does anyone have some information - he is my mom's twin brother.

Thank you for any help.

When was he born? Parents names? Married?
There is no death for an Ainslie 9 Sept 1932 that I could find on Ancestry.ca

I believe I found his death at Ancestry, on September 1, 1932, age 2. The certificate is almost illegible, due to faded print, and I found him by searching just his first name and year.
It does look like the last name may be Ainslie
Date of birth March 21, 1930
Father M.M. (Malcolm) Ainslee, born in Ontario
Mother?
Unfortunately, cannot read place of burial at all.

Hi, Have you talked to the Cemetery Office ?
There may not have been a marker placed for the child - these were difficult financial times.
perhaps the intention was to place a market at a later date - - which was not followed up.
This has happened numerous times -
Some Cemeteries - have a special section - for Infants - Children.

Have you obtained the Registration of Death - this may show the actual date of Death - Date of Burial - Name of Hospital - Physician etc. Should show the name of the Funeral Home in Charge of Arrangements - Records may be archived - may be possible to obtain same.

Though these were difficult times - perhaps the family did have a notice of death published in the local newspaper.
Perhaps the names may be Reversed - Everrett AINSLIE - Ainslie EVERRETT

Here is the image, illegible as it is. At least there is a registration # visible.

I wonder if there is another clearer copy, if the transcriber was able to read the Mother's name. Also, I think the image definitely says September 1.

The microfilim can be ordered in through a library from the Ontario Archives
http://www.archives.gov.on.ca/en/microfilm/vsfaq.aspx

This is a how to order.....

- or - if you are located near a Family Search Centre through them.

It looks like the death certificate reads that is was FYLED 1 SEPTEMBER 1932 and the burial permit was issued 12 SEPTEMBER 1932. It appears that an autopsy was performed.
