A Francis Thomas RICE was listed as passenger aboard the ship Corsican from England to Canada in March 1911. The Canadian immigration list says his destination was Ontario -- the city/town appears to be __rrie maybe (Barrie, Gorrie, or ????) and his age 2?.

A Francis T. Rice was buried in Midhurst United (New) Cemetery, Simcoe Co., Vespra Township but no date nor any other data is listed.

I am trying to establish whether either one or both could be my grand-uncle who was born in Didmarton, Gloucestershire in 1887, son of Thomas and Ellen (Toghill) Rice.

Any help and/or contact with his descendants would be greatly appreciated. I have information on Francis' siblings and ancestors to share.
