From the records at the Fenelon Falls Cemetery -
J.A. McDonald 1884 - 1945 / Martha Derrough / Wife of Archie McDonald / 1842 - 1928 / Daniel McDonald / Regina, Sask / 1889 1962 / At Rest
J.A. is (I believe) James Angus. Both he and Daniel were part of the CEF during WWI. J.A. was "out west" when he signed up and listed his Mother living in Fenelon Falls as next-of-kin. It would appear that Archibald was deceased at that time, as normally the father would be listed if same was living. Angus never married.
