This is one of the families I am researching along with several other people. I have info on the William McDermott and Catherine Payton family. William McDermott's parents were Terrance McDermott born Abt. 1776 in Ireland and Margaret Unknown. Catherine Payton's parents were Patrick Payton born 1800 in Kilglass, County Rroscommon, Irelandand Jane/Ann Hogan. We have a large amount of info on the McDermott (and other) families. We have connected many of these familis together, but still searching for common connections for others. Contact me at jtfjr111@hotmail.com

Pamela,
I am not related to the Kellys or Judges from Perth County. I am related to the Feeley/Feehely/Fehelly/etc., McDermott's, Hearne/Herrons, Henneberry's, Byrns/Burns from Perth County. There are many families that tie into these families - including the Killoran's , Kelly's and Judges. There are numerous decendants of thses families working on the family history. I will look in my data base to see who is directly related to the Kelly's and Judges and get you in contact with them. I do know that some McDermott's married into the Judge family in Boone, Iowa and are buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery. I don't know if these Judge's came from Perth or not. In Perth County, there are many McDermott's - most of which I believe are related. We just haven't tied them all together as of yet.

One of my Judge cousins hired a researcher and she traced our Patrick Judge to Perth County. The original Judges came from Ireland to Ontario in about 1830 and lived in Frontenac/Leeds. In the mid 1850s they begin to move and some went to Kansas and some went to Michigan. We were very interested to find that Patrick Judge stayed in Canada but moved to Perth. I will look at your other names and see if they are among the extended family. The original Judges on my side were William Judge and Catherine Kelly but they were part of an extended family who came to the same area of Canada, namely Westport, Bedford Twp, and Crosby Twp. It would be great if you put me in touch with some other Judge researchers. Thanks
