Hi Carol,

If you have not checked out the mccabe site you might find it interesting. Pat and Greg have done a great job with the site including the Trainor/Traynor family of Peel and King Twps. plus many other collateral families lines.

I have submitted much of my Trainor research to them for enclosure along with several pictures. My great grandmother was Eleanor Trainor the youngest daughter of John and Catharine Trainor from Co. Armagh, Ireland. They immigrated to Canada in 1825. Lots of information on this site about the family. Go into their Genealogy section and scroll down to the names they have included.

Good hunting and if you need moare info on any of the family lines I have alot more that I've not sent them yet. Just contact me on my e-mail.

Hi Carol,
My ancestors came from Ireland. My great Grandfather was Owen Traynor and he lived in OPS Tpwnship, Lindsay, Ontario. Probably came to Canada in and around 1850. He had two brothers that came before him but didn't settle in this area.My GR.GR. Grand father was John and he married a Mary Ann Reilly or O'Reilly. I think Owen brothers names may have been Frank & John and they may have come to Canada around 1847.
E-Mail me at ray.fitch@sympatico.ca if I can help you or you me.
Thanks
Marie
