The Kee family that I am interested in is Freeborn Kee who married Alice Scott and moved to Palmerston. He was a brother of the Kee's living in the Chinguacousy Twp area. I show him born in County Tyrone, Ireland November 25, 1825. I have his parents somewhere that I can look up.

Looks like your family came to Canada 100 years after my Kee line did. I have no Canning in my family nor do I know if any of my Kee line went to the West.

I have a John Lindsey who emigrated from (County Sligo ?) Ireland between 1829 and 1844 to Albion Township. His wife was Ann and their children were William, James, John, Isabella, Mary Jane, Eliza Marie, Margaret and Anne and possibly more.
Am trying to establish a connection to my Rowlett ancestors and am wondering whether Ann's maiden name was Rowlett. John Lindsey corresponded with Matthew Rowlett in Co Sligo Ireland and mentions a cousin called Mary Golding or Golden.

I show a Michael Lindsay - born in 1835 in Canada - who married Ann Sanderson June 15, 1860. She died in 1872 - he is not buried with her so probably remarried. No mention of his parents or siblings - must have got the date from church records and would not have recorded his parents if they were by some slight change there.
