Looking for information on Henry and Walter Knight who owned and operated Knight Brothers in Burk's Falls. They produced specialized furnishings and hardwood flooring. Am seeking information about their company and their life in Burk's Falls. Walter was killed in 1912 when his horse was spooked by the first car in the area and he was thrown from carriage. Henry supposedly married 3 times. His first and second wives were buried in Burk's Falls cemetery. It's believed he went to St. Catherines area and lived there with third wife.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

When I was in high school, 49-53, I worked summers at Thomson-Heyland. The company made flooring and was in the old Knight Bros. factory. I have no pix; only sharp memories of the dreadful noise, dangerous saws, belts and whirring drive wheels. I have some old family pix of the factory from outside, showing the flume, and the Arnour in winter garb.
Let me know if this is any use.
