I am looking for information on the family of James Norman Arthurs and Johannah Eady George who lived in the Powassan area. James and Johannah are both buried in Union Cemetery.

Their children: Dr. James Borden, George Montgomery & Kenneth Norman Arthurs. Are there more children?

Who is Dr. John Wallace Arthurs c.1931 - 1975?

Would there be a write up on the family in the Powassan history book?

Any information is welcome on this family. Thank you for your reponses.

You are looking in a period that doesn't have much information released yet.

I checked Ancestry.ca and only the three children you listed are there.
Kenneth Norman was born in Toronto in 1913, parents were married 17 Sep 1910 at Powassan. Father is a special officer of customs.
Other two were born in Powassan.

Births are only released to 1913; deaths to 1939 and marriages to 1928.

Maybe Dr John W Arthurs, b 1931 is son of Dr James Borden Arthurs.

These were my grandparents and they had several more children. I found this post looking for information on them. My mother Frances Elizabeth was estranged from her family after she married., so my information is incomplete. To my knowledge, there were Gerald, Frances, Ted, Patricia, Kathryn, and John in addition to the older 3. John, like his brother James was a physician. he was the youngest. They may have been living in Prescott Ontario by then. Ted was a lawyer in Prescott prior to his death. Patricia married a well-known Canadian actor. Gerald managed Upper Canada Village in Morrisburg, for years. Kathryn married and raised three boys perhaps in Brockville? Why were you seeking information?

Johannah Eady George was the daughter of Samuel George and Frances Armstrong. Frances was the daughter of Christopher Armstrong and Margaret Johannah Eady.

My great grandfather John Armstrong was a brother of Frances.

I am doubly related on the Armstrong and the Eady side.
