From Ancestry.ca

1911 census Parry Sound

TUCK
John H, b Oct 1884, 27, Ontario, lumbering
Sarah, June 1885, 26, Ont
Geo Arthur, Oct 1904, Ont
Alma, July 1906, Ont
Victoria, May 1908, Ont
Marguerite, Nov 1909, Ont
William, Aug 1910, Ont

1911 census is the last one released.
Births released to 1912; marriages to 1926 and deaths to 1936.

Birth registration:
Hilda Victoria, 23 May 1907, d/o Jno Tuck & Sarah Geddes, Parry Sound.

She is the only child that I found registered but at least it gives Sarah's maiden name.
I don't see a marriage registered for them either.

1901 census Parry Sound
GEDDIS
David, 15 Feb 1847, aged 52, Ontario,
Elizabeth, 17 Dec 1856, 45, Ont
William J, 3 Aug 1877, 24, Ont
Sarah, 18 June 1885, 16, Ont
George A,8 March 1887, 14, Ont
David J, 1 Mar 1890, 11, Ont
Anson, 25 Apr 1892, 8, Ont
Clarance, 28 Aug 1897, 3, Ont

I don't see any John Tuck of the right age on 1901 census in the area.

There is a family tree on Ancestry.ca with a Sarah on it but it is a bit confusing.
It has all her iinformation re marriage, children from 1911 census etc but it has her joining up for WW1 from Winnipeg under name Sarah Elizabeth Tuck and as a professional nurse. Next of kin is given as aunt Sarah Elizabeth Baker of Neepewa Manitoba. I think this is not the same person. Why would she join up with a mob of kids at home? Her birth date is given as 5 June 1884. Someone is on the wrong track with their genealogy maybe.

Death:
David Geddes, 65yrs7mos15days, died 30 Sept 1906, born and died Parry Sound, married, no parents given, died of pneumonia and cerebral haemorrhage, informant: D N Geddes of Parry Sound.

Wow! Thank you very much...and so quick! My dad originally had John & Sarah Tuck...with Sarah as Gilles...but I think he was unclear [deceased :( ]...anyway I didn't find a Gilles and thought maybe he was wrong with the spelling (although he was a very intelligent man and very thorough, I still wonder if he got the spelling wrong). Any ideas? And U R right...my Sarah was a stay-at-home mom...too many kids. Was anxious to reduce the # in the house so she took up the opportunity to disown my Grandma because she got preg B4 marriage (which I know was common practice back then.)
