Hello Listers, Can anyone tell me what "BF" stands for when it appears in the column for "Concession" in the agricultural census 1851? I am looking at James Quarry p. 273.

I believe this stands for "Broken Front":

the first concession road was also frequently called the front, or broken front if it was on a lake shore. In some areas it's referred to as a townline, particularly if it is a boundary line between two townships
