Yes, I do have that book, and it is terrific! Thanks for the offer. I am still trying to track down the descendants. So far I'm hitting a wall.

Karen- I have just started working on the Corrigan name. My Brother-in-law is descended from this family. I believe that they came to Canada in approx 1845-47. The family I am researching then moved to Eau Claire Wisconsin where my brother-in-law is from. I am still searching for documentation as I have not been working on it long. If you would like what little I have found please e-mail me at lmbart@machlink.com

Thanks

It would be great to share information! Which Corrigan are you researching? I am guessing Hugh, because he was the primary Eau Claire Corrigan. What documentation do you seek? A few of us our pooling our research and have things to share about this family. Please contact me.

Please contact me, as I have this book and can copy all pertinent pages for you and send them. There are a lot of interesting pieces of information in this gold mine of a book. It expanded my research as I never could have done on my own.

I will contact you at your e-mail. I have just started and am still trying to get documentation for the info I did find. I can however bring you down the line from Hugh Corrigan to my Niece Emily Nowak here in Muscatine, Iowa. I can also ask more questions of her granfather in Eau Claire. He and his sister I am sure have more information if I just jog the right memories with the right questions.
THANKS!!!

Karen,
Is there any info on the McCuaigs of Mara township? Specifically I am looking for info on Finley (Findlay?) McCuaig who married Ann McCuaig (this was her maiden name but they were not related). They were born in Argyll Scotland and came to Canada in 1832. They had 6 boys and 3 girls, one of whom was Isabella McCuaig who married Duncan McDougall

There are 17 pages on the McCuaigs including info on Findlay. If you email me your mailing address, I will photocopy the pages and send them to you.
