Catherine Vallaley from Ottawa Valley married Ferdinand BLAIS from Quebec. I've been able to trace their lives only through the census and birth records of their children as they lived in Renfrew, Ontario. I have found Catherine's parents but have hit a total brick wall on obtaining information for Ferdinand's parents. I'm hoping if they got married in the Ottawa Valley area there may be some kind of marriage record that states his parents name. He was born in 1829 and died in Renfrew, Ontario in 1890. His death information didn't list his parents - only his wife and children. If anyone can help - I would sincerely appreciate it.
