All the people in the list above were related somehow and were all represented at a family picnic in the 1920s in High Park Toronto. I have the photo of the people but not the reason they were all connected.
According to one relative (Bottomley line) she used to visit the Decou farm just outside of Simcoe in the '20's. She is unsure if other members of the family continued to live in Simcoe at that time but her grandmother, Mariah Wilkinson, was said to have been raised there. Mariah married a Richard Bottomley who owned a dry goods store in Delhi or Simcoe in the late 1880's in partnership with a Wood family. Mariah's sister, Polly Wilkinson, married a Baskerville and one of her daughters, Elizabeth, married a Harry Stevenson. A brother, Ted Wilkinson fathered two daughters who married into the McMurtry and Stewart (of Burford Twp) families.
Any help with these connections would be greatly appreciated.
