I have been told that I have relatives buried in Oakwood. They do not show up in Genweb or OCFA. so I guess that they are either not buried there or do not have a headstone. Can someone tell if there is a telephone contact number for Oakwood or is there a Simcoe number.
I am going to be in that area later this month and would like to find out if relies are there and if so when they were buried

Hi You don't mention the family names
Do a Google Search for the Cemetery name
It will show the address of the cemetery office - perhaps even an e mail address

Not all cemeteries have been transcribed - it is a long ongoing process -takes volunteers etc.

Have you tried Find a Grave - site online This is one

Partially successful in looking for Sidney and Edith. No info in cemetery records for Sidney burial although there are 3 graves owned by him. Edith is in Oakwood and records show that she died 01 Feb 1954.
Would someone be able to have a look for her obit in local paper to see if it mentions Sidney?

Found Sidney obituary in August 29 1949 Simcoe Reformer and Ediths obituary from February 3 1954 Simcoe Reformer . I have attached Sidney and Ediths obituary. The Norfolk Historical Society has transcribed all of Oakwood and a visit to the Eva Brooke Donley Museum will surely tell you where they are located. The museum houses all the societies transcriptions.
