Walter Dean, youngest son of John Dean and Sarah[Sally] Blake, was born in Townsend, Norfolk, Ontario, Canada on 18 Feb 1849 and died on 4 Mar 1865 according to the family bible up on the Potter County (Pennsylvania) Historical Society site. But I have no idea where.

(According to the bible Sarah Blake Dean died in 1855 - doesn't say where for her either.)

I can't find John Dean or Walter Dean in Canada or the U.S. in any census after the 1851 Canadian census. (I can find all of the other children of John and Sarah [Joseph E, Albert, Sarah, Solomon, Andrew, Adam Bowlby, Mary, and Leonard] after the U.S. civil war - except for Oliver who died in service on the union side.)

Does anyone have any knowledge/ideas?
