There is information regarding systems for obtaining original birth registrations.

Type in Ontario Adoption Records.

Ok I will try that. My mother says that my grandmother was adopted. My mom really saved nothing of her parents thus the struggle to try to find something. Any info helps thank you both.

I search Ancestry.ca births with just the birth date but there are quite a few females born that date in Hastings County.
