Hello,I am looking for any information on a legal battle that took place around 1833 over the property of William Davidson and the Welland Canal Company The property was Lot 27,Concession 1, the southern portion of the lot touched on Gravelly Bay. The canal company took the land(in exchange for some compensation) It is where the original lock into the lake was built. I am trying to find out more about William's family.
