Surnames: Stewart White

Just found out (thanks Ginny) my grandfathers brother John Stewart was killed in action in WW1 (Belgium) and would love to trace his family in Canada.

John Stewart was born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1879, married Isabella Frew White in Edinburgh in 1909 and then emigrated to Canada. His death is recorded in Belgium 13/04/1916 with Isabella given as the next of kin and Port Dalhousie, Ontario as his residence in Canada. He was serving with the 1st Btn Western Ontario Regiment.

His is recorded as coming from Port Dalhousie and his next of kin (Isabella) is recorded as living in Merritton, both St Catharines, Ontario.

Would love to trace living relatives if possible and swap family history, photos.
