I'm wondering if anyone on here would be so kind as to be able to provide or take pictures of the following graves:
Blanchard, Matthew, bur. 01/31/1907, Sec Q-H11 #1 SW #8, Adult
Blanchard, Phillip, bur. 03/22/1930, Sec Q-H11 #1 SW #4, Adult
I found more specific instructions on how to locate them posted on here by mel5648 and was hoping I could get pictures of them, Matthew is my great great great great grandfather, his wife Anne Barnes is buried beside him or nearby and Phillip was their son, this is all the info I have so far:
Matthew and Ann Blanchard are buried in the old family plot in Queens Lawn Cemetary with Phillip. To find this grave drive in entrance off Nelles Road. Drive straight to second area (divided by roads) pass the water hose in centre of road, the grave is approx. half way between first and second road on the right hand side, grave discreption , the stone is tall and rectangluar in shape, the was a top but it has been broken off. The Blanchard name is very faint. and it stands a little on its own.
The Blanchard house is still standing (as far as I know) on the south side of Mud Street off Mountain Road, the house is the fourth house (?) past the corner , first house is old school house, second and third houses are newer (and built for Blanchard family) and then an older farm house (this is the house if my information is correct)
Matthew Blanchard, age 25, Bachelor, Servant, resident North Cliff, Father George Blanchard, profession labourer.
Ann Barnes, age 24, spinster, servant, North Cliff, father Thomas Barnes, profession labourer.
This is from marriage certificate.
Anything helps, thanks!
