My Kaittings moved from Utica, NY to Oakville, ON Canada around 1805. Before that they may have been in Hunterdon NJ and Massachusetts. I would like to know from what part of Ireland they came. I think some of them fought at Lundy's Lane for Canada in the War of 1812. Two of them had a grist mill on the Humber River before about 1850 when tariff changes put them out of business. They also had a sawmill on Front Street in Toronto.
