My ancestors lived at 45 Pomarium in Perth. Could someone please take a photo of the house and email it to me in a Jpeg or Bitmap asap? Thanks in advance... needed for genealogy book on the family (Evans).

James and Alice Munro married and lived at the house.

Cheers

Hi Donna,

Don't live in Ontario, live in Manitoba but I am researching my family in Ontario. I noticed your message and was wondering if you were aware that there is Perth County, where you have posted your message, and the City of Perth, which is in Lanark County, quite a long ways from Perth County. Just thought I would send a quick note to let you know you may be looking for the Town, City of Perth, Ontario in Lanark County.

Good luck.

Hi, Donna
I live in Perth, Ontario, Lanark County, and would be happy to take the picture, but I know of no such street in this town.

Check the name of the town and county just to be sure.

Hi Ron,
My Brownlee(ie)s and McDonalds all started out in Scotland to Dalhousie Twp. Lanark Co. Ontario, Canada in 1821 then spread out from there to Lambton Co., Fisher MN, Rocanville Manitoba, Lethbridge Alberta area.
The only name David I have is David Brownlie b. 4 Oct. 1792, Scotland, d. 2 Aug. 1877 Dalhousie Twp. Lanark Co., s/o James Brownlee and Margaret Thomson.
There were also some grandsons that were a David.

I don't recognize any of the other names but then there are a few branches of the family tree that I have not exploxed yet.

Let me know if any of your search leads back to my family and I will share.

Good luck
Jim
