Yesterday while doing more research on the Compos, I came across the 1840 census for Bastard Twp in Leeds Co. with some interesting results. Both John Compo and Antoine Compo were listed with an Amos Denny being the next name after Antoine. Antoine's wife's maiden name was Denny. At this time, Antoine had three children and John had two childred over the age of 16. Probably Isaac and Sarah.

John Compo-3 adult males-2 adult females-one female under 16.
I believe these to be John, Isaac and unknown male. Mary, Isaac's wife Elizabeth and Isaac's daughter Elizabeth.

Seems like John and Antoine moved around a lot.

As to my ancestry, I am the daughter of William Brooks and
my formal names is Elizabeth, Just like my GGGrandmother.
