Seeking links, primarily with Davis/Sutton familes. These families were Irish settlers in Beckwith and Montague Townships, Lanark County in the 1820's. Some of the second generation with Beckwith Scots (Dewar, Cram McRorie, Lucas) migrated in the 1840's to Brooke, Plympton & Warwick Townships, Lambton County and to Usborne Twp. Huron/Middlesex County. (Usborne has apparently been administered by both counties at different times in it's history.)

Hey Bill,

I found recently an Ida Pearl McRorie who was married to Robert J. Leach. She was a daughter to Helen J. McDiarmid and William McRorie who moved to Lambton County.

A bit of her obit reads (1963)
Mrs. Robert Leach, life long resident of Warwick and Watford community, passed away in a sudden heart seizure Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bert Oakes, in Orillia. She was in her 76th year. Prior to her marriage she was Ida Pearl McRorie, of Warwick, and on her marriage to Robert Leach, she resided on the Brooke-Warwick Town line, west of Watford where her husband died 30 years ago...

Does this Robert J. Leach tie in with your research?

Okay:
Not sure I understand. Can you tell me a bit more?
The Kidd family marries into my Roe family.
I do have a Mary Roe who marred a William Henry Kilfoyle.
I have children as Mel Kilfoyle and Margaret.
They lived in Winnipeg and have 20 years of research on this line
At one time you could reach them at melmarg@mb.sympatico.ca
I never contacted them as it is far into down the tree for me.
Good luck
