McDonald was born by the Chenal Es carte (may be spelled wrong) His orbit reads that he was the first White child born here. He died on 03 May 1887 in Lambton. South Lambton Line was once part of his Farm. I have quite a bit of information on this family if anyone is related. John M. McDonald's son Henry was also a Ferry-man from Sombra to Robert's Landing near Marine City in the year 1871 and before. Henry lived and raised his family in Lambton.
