I go back to John Moore McDonald who was born in Wallaceburgh in 1804. You may want to try to look also in the Northumberland area. I found my John and some of his children there. It is near a Indian Reservation. There were a few McDonalds also in that area but this was in the year of 1851. Another area is across the water in Marine City Michigan and Algonac. Our Henry McDonald was the first Ferry man to cross people in a row boat from Sombra to Roberts Landing on the US side. In my search for McDonalds there are different McDOnald families in Marine City and surrounding areas that came across to live on the United States side.
