MELVIN O. ULVAAN On September 21st, 1964, at the Winnipeg General Hospital, Melvin O. Ulvaan, aged 56 years, beloved husband of Lily Ulvaan of Swan River. Memorial service will be held Thursday in the Swan River Lutheran River, Manitoba. Arrangements by Clark Leatherdale. Born in Wilkin County, Minnesota, Mr. Ulvaan came to Canada as a child. He lived in the Spearhill and Deerhorn districts, and in Winnipeg, until moving to Swan River 13 years ago. Surviving besides his wife, Lily, are two daughters, Mrs. L. Bierwirth (Agnes) of Calgary and Patsy, at home, one son, Ernest of The Pas, Man., five grandchildren, four sisters, Mrs. D. Walker of Red Lake, Ont., Mrs. Ralph Gascoyne of St. Vital, Mrs. K.
