I am researching my maternal side. Grandmother's name was Keeley or Keely. According to 'legend', Ggr parents of Agnes were sponsored by a family in Goshen NY Orange County. They came over with ? children. My grandmother was the 7th child. There were 2 other sisters that I knew of Frances Keeley and Christine Keeley Thomas. Both taught school in NY City. Ggrandparents settled in Goshen and moved to chester then Monroe NY. While in chester they worked at a boarding house. The Chester Inn? Not sure of name there are 3 in the 'legend' - American House and Grath House. My grandmother Agnes was born in 1886 but don't know whether it was Ireland or US. Is there any relation?

according to the 1900 census he was born 1868 and born in NY. Monroe county is not too far from when he lived. If I get any more information I will let you know.

Hi, my name is Moira Keeley. My grandfather's name was Joseph Keeley. He married Lillian Killen, whose mother's maiden name was O'Neill. I really don't know any more than that. I know there are relations in upstate New York somewhere, possibly Alburn. I'm from Long Island.
