Hi Keith,
I saw your query on the HEIRS genealogy forum for Ontario.
regarding QUICK and associated lines.
I am curious if you have anything on a Henry RAMSEY/RAMSAY who married Margaret BRUNER in Gosfield, Essex County. I believe this Henry was my great great ggrandfather, and that his sister, according to Henrys US Civil War Penison file, was Judith MITTE, who was married to Phillip. this is the only "proof " I have regarding the siblingship of Henry and Judith. I have more info on what happened to these two, but need to confirm parentage.

ON the the LDS site, there is a listing for Judith, who lists her parents as James RAMSEY/RAMSAY and Mary Polly QUICK. However, the individual who submitted this info is being very sketchy regarding her sources.

I have contacted Ron Buchanan, and he was able to give me some wonderful info regarding the QUICK history, but no enlightenment into my Henry's parentage....
willing to exchange info if interested.
many thanks,
Sally Rowe

John Alexander Quick (d. 1820) was my 5th great grandfather. I have several more names in his branch if anybody is still looking for info.

I know that Mary Polly Quick is also in my tree but I do not know if Judith had a brother named Henry or not.
